Kimmy & Jimmy...The Newly Engaged Couple

First of all, these two are very special people to me. Kim is the sister of my daughter's boyfriend and we have been a close nit clan for over two years now. Kim and Jimmy just got engaged on November 24th and I was lucky enough to capture the surprise proposal with my camera. I think Kim forgives us now for pulling a fast one on her.

We went to Medard Park yesterday to take engagement photos. Kim and Jimmy are the cutest couple! Here's a few of my favorites!

My Tree Is Up...

Well the tree is finally up and trimmed. My son Eric was the sole workman in putting the tree up and all the lights on. Then he and I decorated it. Below is one of my most favorite ornaments. A photo of my oldest, Eric when he was just 2 months old..
Kristina's favorite ornament is the Little Mermaid ornament that I bought her when she was 2.

Isn't it funny how we grow attached and get sentimental over these things? Every year when I put the tree up, I reminisce about each special one and when it was bought etc. Christmas is such a special time for me and my family.

I love my job...

When you get to do what you love for a living, it's not considered work is it? I have been enjoying my new endeavor more than I can say. Thank you to all the new people I've met these past few months... I've really enjoyed each and every photo shoot I've done and truly enjoyed meeting the great people I've been lucky enough to photograph.

The Little Airman....

I had the opportunity to photograph this little guy at the US Coast Guard Rescue Station and had a ball. What a cutie!
